Henry's Memory is an 8x10" encaustic mixed media painting on a 1.5" cradled wood panel. Sides of panel are sealed with beeswax. It includes beeswax, damar resin, pigments, encaustic gesso, and drywall tape. I created it after being inspired by the work of painter Henry Farny. I am attracted to his interesting color palette and depictions of the West after the displacement of the Native Americans.
